Princess Anne was also in attendance, showing there were no signs of bad blood between her and her ex-husband, who she is known to still be close with. And she wasn’t the only friendly ex present: Peter Phillips’s ex-wife Autumn was also there with her new boyfriend, property developer Donal Mullryan. Meanwhile the Queen’s grandson also brought along his new love, Lindsay Wallace. Peter’s daughters Savannah, 11, and Isla, 10, were joined by Zara’s daughters Mia, 8, and Lena, 4, as flower girls.
The bride wore a simple white long-sleeved gown with lace insert detail at the bust, accessorising simply with a veil and pearl drop earrings. She swept her blonde hair into a low bun, wearing minimal make-up.
Stephanie is Captain Mark’s daughter with his second wife, Hawaiian equestrian Sandy Pflueger. She grew up at Aston Farm on the Gatcombe Estate close to her royal half-siblings, as Princess Anne’s ex continued to live there after their divorce in 1992. She was a flower girl at both of her elder sibling’s weddings, and the trio are known to be close despite the age gap.
Much like the rest of the clan, she’s a keen equestrian, competing in events from Wellington International Horse Trials to the West Wiltshire trials, and is even sponsored by the saddle-maker Voltaire Design.
Stephanie and William announced their engagement in September 2021, after he proposed with a sapphire and diamond oval ring.
