Forza Motorsport was finally unveiled during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase with a stunning gameplay demo. Now, Turn 10 has confirmed resolution and framerate details for the upcoming racer on Xbox Series X|S.
As per a blog post over on the Forza Support forums, Forza Motorsport has been “built from the ground up to showcase the Xbox Series X|S consoles.” With overhauled physics, new dynamic time of day, advanced car damage, and real-time on-the-track ray tracing Turn 10 says, “Forza Motorsport is a generational leap in immersion and the most technically advanced racing game ever made.”
Forza Motorsport resolution and framerate
Forza Motorsport will run at 4K/60 FPS on Xbox Series X and at 1080p/60 FPS on Xbox Series S. The blog post doesn’t say anything about different graphics and performance modes, so it looks like you’ll have just the one option.
From what we’ve seen so far, Forza Motorsport is looking incredibly impressive, and if the game can indeed run at 4K/60 FPS on Series X with real-time ray tracing, it will easily give Gran Turismo a run for its money.
Forza Motorsport launches for Xbox Series X|S and PC in spring 2023. Are you excited for the “most technically advanced” racing game ever made? Let us know.
